i3 Incubator is a private intellectual property origination and stewardship platform owned by 4E Enterprises LLC.

We exist to identify necessity-driven innovation, develop defensible intellectual property, and systematically advance ideas into durable operating businesses.

Our work is grounded in decades of hands-on experience at the intersection of innovation, manufacturing, sustainability, and commercialization. More than 20 years ago, our founders were early pioneers in ethanol and biodiesel production, as well as waste-to-energy systems—gaining first-hand insight into how real-world constraints shape viable innovation.

Those lessons formed the foundation of i3’s philosophy:
innovation must be practical, governed, and capable of scale.

Inspired by visionary thinking and guided by disciplined execution, i3 was formalized as a private incubator in 2021 to serve as the upstream engine for future operating companies within the 4E Enterprises ecosystem.

Now headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, i3 works selectively with innovators, operators, and aligned investors to originate intellectual property, structure commercialization pathways, and steward ideas from concept through enterprise formation.
